Homemade Granola

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup coconut oil or olive oil
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 3 cups oat flakes
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup Prozis Crunchy Pear Slices

Preheat the oven at 150ºC and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the oil, the honey/maple syrup, the cinnamon, and the salt in a large bowl and whisk to combine. Add the oats and the almonds and stir.

Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through. The granola is ready when golden-brown.

Remove from the oven, add the Prozis Crunchy Pear Slices and let the granola cool completely before storing. Transfer the cooled granola to an airtight container for long-term storage at room temperature.
