L-Carnitine

L-Carnitine helps your body produce energy.

It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement and many other bodily processes.

Carnitine plays a crucial role in energy production. It transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria so that they can be oxidised ('burned').

As L-Carnitine can be absorbed quickly by the body, especially when taken in liquid form, the best time to take it is in the morning and/or before exercise.

It is recommended to take between 2 and 4 g of L-Carnitine per day, divided into two or three evenly spaced doses.
